Special Issue: LAGOS 2009 - V Latin American Algorithms, Graphs and Optimization Symposium - Gramado, Brazil, 2009

Following the tradition of LAGOS, a Special Issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics
will be prepared in connection with the recent LAGOS'09.

All the authors of accepted papers and posters are invited to contribute. The topics should relate to the central themes of the symposium, but are not necessarily restricted to the presentations at LAGOS'09. The deadline for submission is EXTENDED to April 30, 2010.

The main topics of interest are:

	algorithms and data structures
	analysis of algorithms
	approximation algorithms
	combinatorial optimization
	complexity
	computational biology
	cryptography
	enumerative combinatorics
	graph theory
	mathematical programming
	operations research
	order theory
	polyhedral combinatorics
	randomized algorithms

Authors should submit a cover letter and a manuscript by April 30, 2010

via this online submission site. Manuscripts submitted after April 30, 2010, deadline may not be considered for the special issue.

Papers will be subject to a strict review process managed by the Guest Editors and accepted papers will be published online individually, before print publication.
