Title: Identification of Plausibly Misclassified Observations
Time: 2:15 - 2:35 PM
Location: RUTCOR Building - Room 139, Rutgers University, Busch Campus,
Piscataway, NJ
Abstract: Plausibly misclassified observations appearing in
classification datasets are identified using a combinatorial algorithm, and
suspected misclassifications are checked using Logical Analysis of Data (LAD)
methods. Empirical evaluation on benchmark machine learning datasets and on
real-life problems strongly confirms the correctness of the conclusions.
