Title: An experimental comparison of various cutting-plane approaches to general mixed integer programming problems
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

Abstract: We present a computational comparison of various cutting-plane
approaches to general mixed integer programming problems, including: lift &
project, mixed integer Gomory cuts, a special implementation of disjunctive
cuts, and the so-called 'Reformulation-Linearization' technique (RLT)
(Sherali-Adams). Three sets of test problems are considered: Multidimensional
Knapsacks taken from Chu & Beasley (1998), problems from the MIPLIB library,
and problems related to quadratic pseudoboolean optimization.
