Every student should take charge of some lectures and prepare scribe notes. These notes should be prepared in LaTeX format and then be e-mailed to me to post in this page. If you don't have LaTeX, you can download it for PC's from the MiKTeX site. You should use the prepared template as your model. Use utilities such as xfig and gnuplot to prepare figures and diagrams. Save all figures in pdf format. (You may use gif or jpg if you cannot save them in pdf format.)

I have a complete example in the file sample.tex which uses two pdf picture files coneLP.pdf and poly.pdf files. See how they are included in the sample.tex file. After applying pdflatex command we get sample.pdf file.

    Lecture1: in pdf, see all the files in the lecture1 directory
