Grading of Workshops and Assignments
Workshops: 5 points for correctness, 5 points for presentation. Presentation includes readability, comprehensibility, sufficient explanation and detail of work done (without giving excess detail describing minor algebraic steps or repeating yourself), correct use of English grammar. If your arguments are logically inconsistent or ambiguous you may lose presentation points and in same cases also correctness points.
Assignments: 10 points, usually 2 points per problem for 4 problems chosen each week, and possibly 2 points for completeness.
If you have any concerns schedule an appointment or just come to my office hour.
